Starbucks Declines! No Shock There!

Starbucks is closing locations. I guess their CEO's plan to take away discounts and keep high prices is not working. I could have told you that. If you drive in a city or town, you will see lots of coffee joints popping up. They are not Starbucks. I knew that would catch up to them. I don't know if they are cheaper, but maybe it is the fact they respect their customers. I knew when the new CEO started raving that the problem was too many discounts cheapening the product, they were in trouble. I guess he needs a bonus, so he is closing locations. Eventually, he will be shown the door. He will get a huge golden parachute. CEO's only fail upward. Crime and neglect are just part of doing business.

 I took my daughters to see The Long Walk .  I read this stroy when I was a teen.  It did not disappoint.  The guys who Star in this movie did a really good job.  It is not the feel good movie of the year .  It does make you feel for everyone who dies.  If you get emotional, it will cause tears.

I Feel Lost

 This week, my phone died.  I could not believe it.  I was looking on it and it goes black.  I have my wife look at it.  She gets it to come back to life and updates it to the Icloud.  I start looking at it again.  Then, it dies again.  This time it is for good.  She called TMobile.  They wanted me to enter passwords.  I could not remember them.  They were on the phone.  Eventually, I used my Ipod to access something.  Because it was under a plan we have, I am able to get a new phone.  Only catch is is that it is the same model, Iphone 11.  If I wanted the newest phone, I would have to pay $300.  I went with the same model.  Now I just need to get it.  I find myself lost without my phone.
