Great Wall, Pandas, and Mcdonald's

It's that time of year in Florida. Every park has some sort of scare theme. Disney gas a kiddie version. Sea World and Universal do adult scares. Basically, you pay to have people jump out at you. I just think it would be boring. I really don't know how this is scary. I think the scariest part is how much money they charge for a person to walk through haunted houses.

Since I did not get to see the movie, I had some free time. The blood bank reminded me it was time for my draining. I looked up a location. Then, both my daughters wanted to go. I did not know if they would let them wait in the bus, but we tried. I was hoping to get tickets for the movie. As soon as I start, they tell me I will have to wait. They took my blood and I got a shirt. They did question if they were giving. I told them they were with me. The shirt was actually nicer than past shirts. It had a summer vibe to it.

I was at the theater when we got our upcoming schedule showing Gloria. Unlike today, I could not just pull it up on the internet to research. When I finally saw the preview, I knew it would be a failure. Yesterday, I pulled up both previews. Believe me, the 1980 version is the superior version. Both are about a mob linked woman protecting a kid from the mob. One plays it seriously. The other looks like a God awful comedy. It's like if Hallmark had done the remake. Check out both trailers. They are on Youtube! Tell me if I am wrong!

I worked in a movie theater for ten years. You'd think I would know better than waiting till one day before to buy tickets for a big summer movie. That is what I did. Very few seats remained. Not only that, it looked like only one theater had it, maybe teo. One was 3d. that means mote per ticket. It irratates me that they only had two daytime shows. Summer is not fully over. Summer films are still coming out. I think I see another reason theaters are failing. We eould have dummer times until September.

Be careful leaving mowers and other heay yard equipment out doors. We discovered the hard way. Our tractor was sitting in the yard. We went to start it up and it did not start. We found out that rats like wiring fibers. They have done some damage. If you have equipment, get some devices that will keep them away. I know Temu has sonic type motion detectors. You need to protect your equipment. Looks like the BB gun and I are going out this weekend!

I did more research on By Any Means. It looks like they take a lot of liberties. One thing that bothers me is that it looks like a historical buddy cop movie. The gangster in it had a really bad history of being an evil man. My biggest issue is believing that the FBI would send a black agent into Mississippi during that time period. That is about as believable as dinosaurs on screen. If they had sent him, I think that he and the mobster would have disappeared.

I am finally going to see this movie. I waited a couple of weeks. Hopefully, people will start dwindling down. My daughters want to see this movie. I did read that the Dinosaur movie coming out today is actually good. I guess I am surprised, but not enough to pay for it. It still has CG dinosaurs. Maybe one day it will be on and I will watch it. I just don't know if I would waste my time. I am glad to see an original story get some notice. I will wish it well. If you want to see an entertaining movie, The House at the End of the Block might be worth your time.

Trump is at it again. When a court shuts him down, he ignores it. I really wish his "Constitutional" party would tell him to stop trying to be above the law. He has done this his whole life. Usually, he could get away with it because people could not afford to fight his lawsuits. Now he is the one in charge of our country. He does not like following the rules that our fore fathers set up for him. Not only that, he has shady lawyers and directors that scour old and out dated rules and laws to make it fit what he wants to do to people, like equating the US Citizenship to people born in the US to slaves after the Civil War. If that were the case, why did all those white racist politicians not change it in the 40's to 50's? It's only a problem now? It's important to fragile white people that beleive they are being "replaced". Too bad they are so stupid as to realize that the oligarchs they support are trying to replace them, with technology. ...

I went upstairs to get a bite to eat. As soon as I did, a wave of heat hit me. We have 2 air conditioners. One for the bottom floor and one for the main level. It's nice and cool down here. I ask my wife if she felt the heat. She said no because she had just come in. Of course, we are having one of those hot Florida days. I fed the animals this morning so I could avoid the heat. We are fortunate to have found a good air service. She called and even said we have not had it serviced. He said we did not need to. It's only a couple of years old. He said he would send someone out. That is great. In the past, it would be an emergency service and they would have gotten on us to have it serviced or just told us the warranty was voided. I tell you it is hard to find good companies for service things. If you find one, hold on to them.

So trump's propaganda spokesperson is stepping down. Get ready for the next one! They will be worse than she was. It will be like Spicer on Steroids. They will have to show overwhelming devotion for telling lies to protect dear leader junior. I could not even imagine. Maybe one of the psycophants at Fox "news". Or one of his loyal kool aid drinkers at his clubs. Probably one of their female daughters.

Trump has done it again. He has given the internet something to meme about. His latest has been a great boon for them. Escaping to a plane on a food cargo container. They write themselves. Look for them. I have seen a couple. One showing him handing out snacks from the Stewards cart on a plane. One where he is holding a container of Orange Chicken. One shows an orange trail behind a container going to a plane. People can be very imaginative. I'm surprised he is not suing the paper for revealing his "daring" escape from a situation he did not set up.

 Our secretary of the state is calling out birthright citizenship.  Well guess what?  His parents were illegals when he was born in our country.  Does that mean ICE should deport him?  His parents did commit a crime, just like they say others are doing.  It's so sad how our country has gotten.  We are running off doctrines of racists and calling it normal.  Trump was selling housing to Russians for the same purpose.  I guess when they pay you millions, you can look the other way.  As for the secretary's parents, I bet they had money.  

 So, this title sounds like something trump would say. His anonymous "everyone says".  Well, Wisconsin had a primary yesterday.  The Democratic Socialist lost.  The headlines I saw this morning are all about the upset win.  Then, I look at the numbers and she only lost by a little over a 1,000.  Is that an upset?  Maybe for establishment Democrats.  I see a close race.  I still see the problems the establishment refuses to recognize.  People want change.  They do not want status quo and politicians trying to sing kum by ya with republicans who have refused to work with Democrats.  The party really needs to work on its strategy.  If they do not and do like they always do, they will turn off people.  They will vote for the next radical that has a crazy vision, even if it is all lies.  

 I saw the story that trump had to escape Turkey by a catering cart.  Now, was it a McDonald's cart?  He says he was escaping Iranians, but I'm wondering if he was just too hungering and lazy to walk on the plane.  So, they called McDonald's and arranged a pick up.  Doesn't he realize how weak this makes him?  I thought he was the "big" man who stood up to his enemies!  Nope, just another bunker dweller hiding from the public.  I guess he only stands tall when he organizes the situation!  

 You'd think we would have learned from Vietnam to beware of insurgent situations or other areas we know nothing about.  Iraq we had insurgency because we failed to learn about the situation of all the people and religions.  In Afghanistan, the people we helped deter the Russians knew how to deter the US as well.  Now Iran.  Iraq tried to take them over.  After many years, they gave up.  Israel and our country have done plenty to no avail.  Then we get someone who thinks that we can bomb them into compliance.  As you can see, it has failed.  If you think Iran will give up because of sanctions, you know nothing.  They know that the US will cry uncle before they will.  They live hardship.  It will be nothing to them.  One day, we will have educated people running the government again.  If we go into a conflict, hopefully, they will do the research.

 I made the mistake of buying a salad from WalMart three weeks ago.  I saw it was Taylor, but I thought it was not including the salad bowls.  My daughter paid for it.  Diarrhea for 3 to 4 days.  I stopped buying them.  I went to Aldi and she has been fine.  One thing I have noticed is that the salads at Walmart have a lot of yellow tag reductions.  Now there will be more with the latest news of salmonella.  Maybe instead of trying to sell it, even at a reduction, Walmart should just pull it and tell them to fix their problems.   

 I have caught the cooking bug lately.  Mainly because it cost so much to eat out.  Also, my wife has issues with the food not agreeing with her.  After some of the meals I have made, I have noticed that I do not feel bloated or get heartburn.  I think it is because of the cheap products these companies use to make their foods.  Yesterday, I made McRib copy cat sandwiches.  They were easy to make, everyone loved them, and not regret after eating them.  I did the same for spaghetti.  I made my own sauce and bought Italian spaghetti.  It tasted better and no regrets.  If eating out bothers you, look up the recipe on the internet.  Someone will have a recipe out there.  

 Today, my kids go back to school.  For that, I am glad.  I can imagine sitting around the house with nothing to do.  I wish I could spend more time at home during the summer.  It is my busiest time at work. Plus, it's Florida!  It's too hot to do anything outside.  Not to mention, everything is getting expensive.  Even the beaches, due to parking fees.  I still do not know why people come here during the summer.  You might say theme parks, but I will tell you they are hot and expensive.  You have to be upper class to go to most of them.  Unless you want to go into debt.  

 I love this time of year.  I get the urge to cook.  This morning I made an Apple Crumb donut.  I had found the recipe on Facebook.  It actually turned out.  Usually when I try to make crumbles, it does not turn out.  Up next, McRib sandwiches.  My wife loves it.  Of course McDonald’s only does it for special occasions.  I think the one I make will be better for me.  

 Get ready for more bogus cases against trump's perceived enemies!  The spineless politicians voted in his personal lawyer.  Now he can get paid by our tax dollars to still be his personal lawyer.  If Democrats thought this mid term was going to be hard, it just got harder.  Just imagine all the bogus investigations into vote "rigging" if a democrat or non trump pick gets elected.  I hope the states are ready to fight to protect voting.  This year will be important to vote.  It may not matter.  Musk is pledging to help.  He helped in the last election.  Now one of his kids moms is saying he rigged the election for trump and the republicans.  Who will investigate?  Spineless Democrats won't do it because of the Russia allegation from the first election.  Who will protect the American People!  I have no hope that our attorney general will do it.  He's trumps whipping boy and will do whatever he wants him to do...

 Seems like our politicians are giving our country away to the rich.  They have no spine to stand up for the American people.  Just watch, if one party loses power and the other actually uses or borrows a spine, watch the spineless come to life to defend the rich and their traitorous administration.  I bet there will be at least one Democrat to fight for trump and a couple will fight for status quo.  The two leaders will say wait two more years and hopefully we will regain the White House.  Others will be chastised for actually going after the waste and criminal laundering of our tax dollars into a few pockets.  This is the worst administration of my lifetime.  Not only that, these people below are just yes men for trump.  

 We have one of those electronic door locks.  When you close the door, the lock will engage after a second or two.  Someone left our house last night.  Let me describe our area.  It's rural to a point.  Up the road is civilization.  We have to worry about night critters and predators.  It was also storming.  One good gust of wind and the door will fly open.  That is exactly what happened.  The next morning it was discovered.  My wife checked the camera footage to make sure nothing came in the open door.  On the camera a black shape appeared and seem to disappear.  It could have been a raccoon.  I think it was too big to be the cat.  Luckily, nothing came in the door.  But my wife thinks it is other worldly.  It did not come in because it was not invited.  What did we do?  Did we buy a haunted house?  Stay tuned!

 I really want to see this.  I don't know when my break is coming.  I don't have to worry about competition knocking it out of theaters.  The new movies do not strike an interest for me.  A new generation love story and a raunchy comedy.  The comedy is based on a series and two other movies.  If I find a break this weekend, I my try to watch Obsession.  Someone told me that they liked it.  I know there are a couple of late summer movies coming.  I really don't care for another Jurassic Park rip off or another video game movie.  I was working at a theater when the first Street Fighter came out.  I just don't like movies based on a video game.  Maybe September will have some better movies.  

 I'm sitting at my computer listening to Youtube.  I am too cheap to buy any plan.  Maybe poor is a better term.  Then, McDonalds comes on with a cheery spokesperson.  She goes on about this great "value" meal.  It's only $8 dollars!  Can you believe it?  So, are they trying to tell us that is cheaper than a burger meal at Chili's or some other sit down restaurant.  When I look at "value" meals that used to be $3 to $4 dollars, I am now seeing close to $10.  A regular meal is closer to $20 at a fast food place.  The thought of spending that much of food of poor quality makes me sick.  I'd rather buy the ingredients and make a healthier version of the same thing I can buy.  They think there recipes are top secret.  Anyone can find a copy cat recipe on the internet.  I made spaghetti sauce and use Italian spaghetti the other day.  It did not make us feel bloated or sick.  I wonder why?  Well, I did l...

 Our weird Florida weather continues.  We have started getting daily rains.  This is what usually happens in May to June.  I wonder if hurricanes will start getting worse in October instead of September.  I am glad I did not start a garden this year.  I do not think it would have done well.  Either there would have been smaller and thinner yields of the plant would have baked in the sun.  I do have a plan to create a garden area with shade.  I have bought a couple of shades from Temu and some watering things.  Stay tuned.  I really need a green thumb.  

 I find collecting to be a scam.  I collected baseball cards, comics, posters, books, etc.  Now that they have aged, I look to sell them.  As I am finding out, the collectable market has put roadblocks in to prevent me from selling some things at a high price.  That is unless I pay some company hundreds of dollars to get rated.  Why should I pay a company to do what a person can clearly do themselves?   Why is it these companies can profit like this?  I think it's so the rich can buy these items off people cheap.  Then, they can get them "evaluated" and resell them at a higher price.  These people know that people that collect are not rich.  They collect as an investment hoping that one day their collectable will be worth something.  If I gave advice on collecting, I would say don't!  Just like the appraisal companies, it's a scam.  These appraisal companies are a joke.  You have to pay them hundreds of doll...

 The AIPAC woman lost her election.  I guess she should have explained to voters how she was going to help them versus sending money to another country.  Establishment Democrats don't get it.  They act like progressives are promising the world.  I don't see why our tax dollars should not benefit Americans.  What about free healthcare?  Stop making healthcare a capitalist cash crop.  If companies are given a chance of saving a life or letting a person die, they will say it is cheaper to let us die.  They do not care about people.  They care about bonuses.  Our money could be spent to make life better for Americans.  Instead we spend more than every country in the world on weapons.  That money buys politicians to keep the money flowing.  If you think AI is going to help, in America, companies are using it to save on employing people or just down right firing them.  Look at Disney.  They had one of the biggest ...

 So Sony says they will not continue their alternative Spider-Man movies.  Why?  Because viewers don't really want them.  I would beg to differ.  They would probably want them if they were not so bad.  They are obviously a set up for a bigger movie with Spider-Man.  These are supposed to be villains.  They seemed more like anti villains.  What were they thinking?  All of a sudden, these sort of good guys are going to get together to go after Spider-Man?  I didn't see that.  Luckily, I stayed away because their reputation was so bad.  Sony needs to create better stories and not AI looking crap.   

 When I was younger, my brother and I would attend the Boys Club.  It was fun.  We got to do things and it kept us from wandering Oceanside streets while my mom worked.  The would do trips to parks and baseball games.  I even got autographs one time.  Sometimes, they would do a sleepover at the club.  Those were fun.  They'd have food, games and movies.  I got to see some classics.  One movie I remember was called Shogun Assassin.  It was a Samurai exploitation movie.  It had some graphic violence.  What I did not know until later in life was that Shogun Assassin was a mixtape movie.  Some studio had taken this Japanese movie, of which there were multiple, and cut them down to one movie.  That movie series went under Lone Wolf and Cub.  It is the story of a Samurai whose family and master are killed.  He roams the land with his toddler son seeking revenge, while offering his services to people in need....

 My daughter has a plumbing fixation.  She listens to Youtube tutorials on what a plumber does.  I told her she needed a plumbing license for her to mess around with plumbing.  She asks for things like plumbers table and wax seals.  Unfortunately, she learned where the wax seal was located.  So, she kicked over the toilet to get to it.  We had to replace it and make it more secure.  Prior to that, it did not take much to knock it over.  I was thinking about that.  I decided to look up toy plumbing items.  They actually have thinks.  I guess it's for doll houses.  We can buy her mini toilets, sinks, etc.  Then, we can use them as a reward to do other things like taking her meds.  

 School is getting ready to start in America.  The GOP is welcoming kids by taking away their lunches, their free schools, etc.  Today I read that trump wants to do away with Head Start.  Why?   Well, he said it.  He likes stupid people.  For him, they are easier to control.  They believe his lies without question.  An educated person would question him, investigate his many crimes, and not put up with with holding the Epstein files.  The GOP is truly the party of the rich.  They are not the party of families.  They are not the party of fiscal responsibility.  They are the party of endless wars and enriching their rich donors, as wells as themselves!  At this rate, they want to turn the US into a Christian Taliban state guided by the laws of the bible.  Sounds like Christian Sharia!  

 At a time where your party should have an easy route to victory, Democrats have found a way to mess it up.  The older wing of the party, most likely controlled by the rich, want status quo.  Why?  Are they saying they are like Republicans, but only slightly better?  They have been so weak and quiet since trump took over and started dismantling our system.  He even openly brags about all the money he is grifting.  Legacy Democrats are silent!  I guess they can't wait to take office to do the same as trump.  Younger Democrats talking about helping people.  Getting better healthcare.  A cleaner environment.  Not funding warmongers.  What do they get in return?  Attacks from Republicans calling them communists.  Even the older wing is distancing themselves.  I bet they screw everything up just to make sure they stay in power.  Another reason there needs to be a limit to serving.  I am tired of those t...

 Heading to work today, my wife calls.  There is an accident where I am heading.  It is a car on fire and it is blocking 3 lanes.  Great!  As I am thinking about where I should get off, red lights caught my attention.  Too late!  I started towards the rightmost lane.  That was the exit for the road they told everyone to go to.  Well, it wasn't moving.  I look to the left and it is the only lane actually moving.  By the time I got to where the accident was, there was nothing there.  They had cleaned it up and disappeared.  Almost like that movie IROBOT.  

 My children are getting ready to go back.  I can't wait.  I know they get bored sitting around the house.  They really don't go out much.  I wish we had a place for them to go during the summer where they could play and do things.  Knowing my children, they would sit in the corner.  One wouldn't even leave the house.  I am hoping she goes back to school this year.  We'll have to wait and see.  Although she is progressing in some areas, she still hates leaving the house.  

 We had a slightly cooler weekend.  I know the chickens and rabbits were happy.  I was still humid out there.  I did some work and came back inside drenched.  It was not raining, yet.  We did get a shower or two.  I was minimal.  I am glad of.  I am trying to move dirt that the rain has washed away.  I think I am making progress.  I know I have a drain pipe to repair.  Once things cool down, we are redoing the chickens.  I don't think the Guinea's will like it.  They love their freedom.  

 My daughter and I are still learning guitar.  I like doing it.  My fingers do not hurt as much.  I feel that I am getting the chords.  Do I hear songs? No!  I sort of hear different notes. It is also interesting watching others play it in videos. When they use chords, I can tell the chords.  They do pick a lot.  That is a difficult process, but fun to try.  It does take practicing everyday.  Some days I am just too tired.  I just wish I could get my daughter to move her fingers.  She wants me to do it.  

 I love this movie.  It has a great story, actors and effects.  It does not surprise me.  Dan O’bannon was a writer.  This guy helped create Alien and Return of the Living Dead.  One thing I noticed was this movie is still relevant.  They could easily continue this story. A corrupt president could restart the program.  They could dream up not so futuristic tech to add to the copter.  They could have an actor like Austin Butler play a grown up version of Roy Scheider’s girlfriend’s son.  On top of that, AI could be programmed for surveillance and attacks.  One that is programmed to go after the government’s enemies and people not of the same color of the president.  Practical effects are a must.  Do not have an AI powered copter.  Stealth already did that.  It was lame!  They also need a few modified copters for better dog fights!  

 I think one of the coolest signatures I got was from Thomas Harris.  He is the author of Silence of the Lambs.  I wrote him after reading the book.  I asked what Lector would do next.  I even asked for an autograph ed picture.  He said he did not have pictures, but drew a picture of what he looked like.  In addition to that, I wrote John Douglas from the FBI.  He as a consultant to Thomas Harris.  I was inquiring about books on serial killers.  He responded.  He suggested a book and signed the letter.  I also got Jack Nicholson’s autograph.  It took over a year to get.  

 When I was younger, I used to write actors, authors, and cartoonists that I like.  Sometimes, I would be successful.  Sometimes, I would get an auto pen signature.  I never payed for them.  I did send a self addressed stamped envelope.  Nowadays, you can attend a convention and pay for that privilege.  In some ways I get it.  You can talk to them directly.  You see them do it. At the prices they charge, what other value does it have?  I could not spend that kind of money for one signature.  I really wouldn’t know what to say that a million others have already said.  I do like that it gives actors that do not always make the big bucks a chance to make money.  It also lets fans see a person that might have been in a bunch of their favorite movies but not the main star.  Those actors are more impressive to me.  They stand out, even if you don’t know their name!  If you had a chance to meet someone like this, w...

 It looks like Spiderman is going to have a great weekend!  Its preview beat out an Avenger's movie for top preview showing.  I want to see it.  I may wait.  I think there will be a lot of people getting out of the heat to see this or the Odyssey.  I'm glad to see the box office looking good, but this is only two movies.  We need more movies being released.  I wouldn't count on Paramount WB to do that.  If they do merge, it will be a massacre on half the employees.  

 We lucked out.  We almost had a Sony Spiderman movie.  They wanted to have Spiderman up against their Sinister Six.  We are talking about the failure spiderverse movies Sony tried to make.  Luckily, it was shot down.  Are they really trying to bring down what they have with this incarnation of Spiderman?  Sometimes, it makes me wonder about producers.  All they can see is money, but not the best way to get there.  Anything they come up with is "gold"!  I love movies, but I am glad I do not work in a system like that.  Producers are the worst for going after the golden goose.  When they cut it open, they wonder where the gold is.  If they villains were attracting people, why did their movies fail?  Now they want a Spiderman movie to prompt them up.  What would that lead to?  A Suicide Squad movie with Spiderman villains?  Uh-oh, I might have just given a producer an idea for a movie.  

 So, you might have seen ads being added or not.  I can't really tell.  I have been doing this for years and only have $9.  They won't even pay out till you hit $100.  At my rate, I will not hit that before I die. I would ask you as a reader, if you are paying attention, could you click on an ad? I want to see if I am even doing this stuff correctly.  If not, it's okay.  I like doing this.  

 I hate watching commercials.  Over half are drug commercials.  They are selling the hip new drug.  One that will probably have to be taken for the rest f the person’s life.  The commercials go out of their way to show how happy people are taking it.  Of course, then you get a whole paragraph of what could go wrong, even death. But, happy times!  At least for the executive s that get bonuses from sales!  That reminds me I have to read Brave New World!  

 This is the week the new Spider-Man comes out.  I want to see it, but it will have to wait.  Crunch time is hitting at work.  We have to finish by the first week of August.  I’m ready for the fall.  It has been warmer than usual with little ran this year. I’m just glad we have not has fires.  

 I woke up this morning and looked at the back yard.  Turkey buzzards were lining our fence posts.  Do they know something we do not know?   I went out to feed the animals.  None had died.  Unless they can smell the waste of the chickens.  I can't.  If it is grouped in a hot building, you would smell it.  My wife said they if they start flying into the windows and start attacking, we need to hide.  Maybe they smell my neighbor.  She seems to be on death's bed.  She likes to come out and shoot into the air to scare them off.  

 I read this weekend that the upcoming Onslaught is a spiritual sequel to The Guest.  The Guest was a great movie with Dan Stevens. He plays a soldier coming back from Iraq to visit the family of a fallen buddy.  He is not exactly who he says he is.  Now, we have Onslaught.  It’s about super killing soldiers let loose on a town.  An ex military person has to protect her daughter.  Dan Steven’s plays a different character in this movie.  

 Yesterday, I was looking out at our backyard.  On the fence I sight a hawk.  That is bad.  If they get hungry, they could grab a chicken.  I grabbed my BB Gun and went out.  He didn't like me coming out and flew off.  This is getting me concerned.  It was hot and humid.  Since I was out with my gun, I decided to double down on the heat.  I went into one of the buildings and started kicking things in the corners.  Sure enough, rats started to scurry.  I aimed and took shots.  I do think I hit one of them.  It's hard to tell.  Sometimes, it feels like shooting fish in a barrel.  Most of the time, they are too quick.  After I had exhausted my bb's, I went to check on the rabbits and another area where the mice and rats like to hide.  I saw nothing.  But, then I saw one of the rabbits laying on its side.  I opened the cage and it was stiff.  I guess the heat got to it.  Now, we are...

 I can't say I watch many streamer made movies.  They just look too clean for me.  They use particular actors, the dialogue usually sucks and the backgrounds all look AI to me.  They are probably using AI to write scripts also.  Even if they can get a great director, they will not guarantee it will play on a movie screen.  I'm glad to see scrutiny for the WB/Paramount deal.  If Netflix does get a second chance, I hope they will keep their promise to play movies in theaters.  They really have to cut back on the AI.  I am not really looking forward to any upcoming movies.  I miss the older days of movies.  I do not miss the A list actor movie projects that they through lots of money at.  I really wish they would stop trying to turn games into movies or toys into movies.  In the end, it's just one big commercial.  

 When I was a kid, I used to do Mad Libs.  It was a story word game, where you would put in crazy words to make a funny story.  With Matchbox getting a movie, do you think Hollywood will do a Mad Libs movie?  The could create a script and ask people to fill it with crazy words snd then fill it.  Or, maybe this could be a reality show.  

 So here is the movie no one asked for but Hollywood had to make.  Go see the trailer.  It looks like a streamer action movie around adults that used to play with Matchbox toys.  Believe me, it’s as bad as it sounds.  I’m guessing it might be an AI written movie.  Poor John Cena! He seems like a great person, but his agent needs to find better movies for him.  

 We ordered a new toilet from Lowe’s.  It came from a third party shipper.  When we got it, we discovered that that toilet was in pieces. My wife went back to return it.  They said that they hated third party shippers.  If you know it is a problem, then why continue to ship through them? Especially when the person opening their box could get cut by the shards.  

 We have a hear warning today.  It is also supposed to rain.  We need it.  Our house overlooks a lake.  It does not look that good.  It looks like algae might be growing.  It also seems that there are fewer boats this year.  I was driving the other day and noticed that man made lakes are running low.  It could be worse.  We aren’t getting hit with hurricanes!  

 First my daughter destroys our toilet, then our water heater starts leaking.  It turns out our water heater is 13 years old and they have a shelf life of a few years less.  With all that has happened, I hope it is over.  Someone said these things come in 3’s.  I will say the animals dying is the first of our run of bad luck.  

 Have you seen an IMAX movie lately?  Looking at it's second quarter I'd say a bunch of people did.  I know I would like to see The Odyssey.  From what I have seen, it may go on for a while.  That is unless there is another IMAX movie coming up.  I don't think Spiderman is getting the IMAX treatment.  They really need more IMAX theaters.  At the end of the year, we have Dune 3 coming out.  That looks good, even thought the story it is based on was not that great.  Hopefully, there will be more to the movie than the book.  

 Beware of these.  We just got scammed with our home appliance insurance.  They informed us that the water heater is a year past being covered.  It is funny how they can pull up that information when it is time to pay for a repair.  When they are collecting monthly fees, it slips their mind to tell us.  Also, car repair warranties.  You are better off saving the money in an account.  Stay away from these fly by night companies.   I don't car which stars are promoting it.  They will always find a way not to pay for anything!  They probably make enough money to pay politicians to protect their scam businesses! 

 I'm watching the tv the other day.  I see a commercial from a politician.  He's hard working and knows the pains of normal people.  Washington is out of control with its spending.  Those evil liberals are the reason.  He's going to join trump to clean up the swamp and get spending under control.  Only problem is that it's the republicans and trump doing all the spending.  They are cutting things that help people to finance their own wealth.  They are starting wars that will not end.  They are putting the worst people in charge.  People that have no idea what their job entails.  The only qualification they have is that they are will to bow down and kiss trump's feet.  Believe me, if Congress stops one from being confirmed, he always has a worse person ready.  There is no bottom with trump.  This guy running must be rich and wants more money through corruption!  

 Democrats are going out of their way to turn off voters.  Just when some politicians are gaining steam.  Establishment politicians are trying to force in their people.  When are they ever going to learn?  They gave us trump when they forced Bernie out.  Then, they did it again when they forced Biden out.  Now we have someone more geriatric than him leading the country.  Now that some Democrats are coming out as trying to actually help Americans, they are trying to squash it.  They did it in Maine, they are trying to do it in Michigan.  They seem to agree with trump that they are communists.  Why?  My theory is Democrats and Republicans are the same.  They are bought by the same billionaires and companies  What this country needs is real change.  Neither side wants to deviate from their playbook.  

 Senile Trump was at the World Cup game.  Guess he can never get enough of being booed.  At the end, he presented a medal to the top player and held out his hand.  The player ignored it and gave him the V with his fingers.  Then, as the players are posing for pictures and getting ready to lift up the cup, grandpa starts wandering in the picture.  Someone says something and he wanders off to the right of the players.  What an American embarrassment.  Probably realized it was nap time.  

 Have you ever watched Platoon?  There is a scene where one of the men disappears.  They can't find him.  Then they do.  He was killed by the VC.  Well we had that, yesterday.  I am talking to my wife.  She is looking for our sickly goat.  She had move her closer to the house in a closed pen.  She was no where to be found.  She looked every where.  Later in the day, I got home and went out to search for here.  I could not find her either.  Then, our nurse pointed out an area where vultures had be congregating.  I went down there.  I found her or what was left.  The vultures had taken care of a good portion, especially those that would have smelled.  I picked her up and buried her.  It looks like she got out and maybe went to the back where she eats.  I do not know if she died or had fell and was dying.  I hope she died before they got to her.  

 The Odyssey comes out this week.  It is the first Hollywood movie to be entirely filmed in IMAX.  If you go see it, do it in an IMAX theater.  This is the way it was meant to be seen.  I just wish there were more IMAX centered real theaters.  Not the small theater that uses what the dimensions of their building allows.  I mean a theater build to IMAX viewing specifications.  Huge screens with amazing sound and picture.  We get the watered down version.  I think this will be a must see.  That and maybe Spiderman.  If they keep coming out with new clips, I will change my mind on that one.  They don't have to show the whole movie to get people to go see Spiderman.  I think they have already started ruining the villain.  We'll see what happens.   

 You probably think I write this because I am rolling in the dough.  You picture me lighting cigars with $100 dollar bills in my mansion with fancy cars parked out front.  That is wrong.  I have made no money.  I did entertain myself with adding ads.  I thought a payment every once in awhile would be great.  I have not even passed $10.  They won't pay anything until I hit over $100.  It has been stuck on the same number for many years.  Yet, I seem to get a lot of views.  Why do I write it? I like to speak my mind.  I can't do it at work and my wife does not always care to hear what I say.  I need an outlet.  If you start doing this thinking it is easy money, it is not.  If it were because of the money, I would have quit doing this a long time ago.  If Google is reading this, how do I get paid?  It does not work from where I am sitting.  I think they are getting more money off my rants.  I jus...

 If you are driving in America and unknown vehicles try to box you in to stop you, be afraid.  It could be a gang land killing, a mob rub out or our government trying to intimidate you into doing something they can retaliate for.  If that department tried to box me in, I would want to flee.  I would be scared it was a car jacking or maybe a gang pick the wrong blue car.  What are Americans supposed to do?  I thought we had freedoms.  I think other countries have more freedom than the US.  We can't speak out on the president's crimes, his financial manipulations, his pedophilia, his reckless spending, and his fake wars without getting a knock on the door by the jackbooted FBI or ICE.  I feel like I should carry my papers at all time.  I don't even know which papers that would be.  Not that it would matter to trump's thugs.  They are above the law, just like trump!  Politicians?  Looks like we are getting a mob lawyer as Attorney General.  Is this the first?  Who knows, but the idiot politicians will greenlight him.  After, Democrats will claim buyers remorse.  Republicans will claim he told them it was over or he wouldn't do it.  Justice as we know it will be on hold until this garbage is voted out of of office.  The only justice this moron will protect is that of Trump, his family and trump approved donors.  Anyone else is fair game.  We really need to kick the republicans out of office.  Their only concern is power.  They do not speak for the people.  They are not their to make our lives any better.  Their job is to make more money than they came in with, while the people suffer!  

 You have read that I am not a big fan of these live action remakes.  I know why they do it.  It's all in the money.  I cant explain why one works and the next one fails.  Could it be Dwayne Johnson turns off people?  Moana is big.  The parks dedicate areas to it.  Another issue I have are the stories about instant failure.  It seems like some rags want movies to fail.  Maybe they have an agenda.  The next couple of weeks will depend on word of mouth.  It will be drown out by news stories that are really lacking of any news.  I guess these are easy targets since they are scared to do real reporting on the criminal president.  That is where the stories are.  None of them have the guts to go after the real stories.  

 If I were to go to the movies this week, I would want to see Evil Dead Burn.  However, my daughters would want to see Moana.  I really hate live action remakes of animated films.  They just tell the same story with very little changes.  Kids might like it.  Watch the animated movie.  As for Evil Dead, I like what they do with these films.  They pick good directors and encourage them to do an Evil Dead movie their way.  It's like an anthology of Dead movies.  This one looks like it will be extreme.  If you know Dead movies, than you know where it can go!  

 I'm sitting here working and I was chewing on a lollipop.  Nothing big.  When I started chewing, it was crunchy.  It should not be crunchy.  I used my tongue to search around.  Finally I found it.  A gap in my back tooth.  Luckily, it does not hurt, but that will come.  Now I need to get a new dentist.  I left my last one.  She kept trying to upsell me every visit.  Sometimes, I think she would see leakage in an old cavity and then just watch it until she could put on a crown.  On top of that, I have a bad habit of grinding my teeth.  Wear and tear.  I am falling apart.  

 The US lost it's World Cup game.  I guess trump should not have tried to rig the game.  As much as he cheats, you'd think he'd realize that sometimes it might backfire.  In this case, it looks like it fired up the players of the opposite team.  Then, at the end, they mocked our idiot and chief with his jerk off dance set to YMCA.  This is what I am hoping will happen at mid term elections.  I hope he fires up people who would not usually turn out for a mid term.  He keeps trying to make sure his cheat bill gets enacted.  He wants us all to pay a poll tax.  He's even weaponizing the FBI to intimidate voters.  We know that ICE will do it also.  It think their creation was just that point, trumps secret police.  Reading books about the Hoover years shows me how corruptible the FBI can be.

 I am getting tired of stories about how a current movie has failed.  The movie just came out.  Give it a chance.  One thing that studios should pay attention to is that there big movies are not doing good.  I can tell another issue I have.  All the stories trying to tell all about a movie before it even comes out.  I get tired of hearing about it. When it comes out, I am on to other movies.  I feel like I have already seen the movie.  

 I guess squirrels can be an issue for some.  At my house, squirrels need to beware.  Our farm cat was noshing on a squirrel yesterday.  She will walk off and leave the body only to return.  I just wish she would go after the rats with that much dedication.  

 I love physical media.  Streamers do not always play the movies I want to see.  Older movies are becoming scarce for some of the awful stories Hollywood is putting out.  I am always looking for movies to add to my collection.  Recently, I bought The Blues Brothers and F1.  Both in 4k and both had a digital copy.  When I go to add them, I discover that I have to have an Apple TV subscription.  I don't have one.  I don't want one.  This is their new way to force loyalty to a company.  I guess that also means that they can take away the digital copy whenever they want.  I read the other day that Sony did just that with people that had bought certain titles through their Playstation Store.  They are also going away from discs for their new game stations.  I guess we will be renting and having nothing to show for it.  I am lucky my kids are not into gaming.  

 We still have our farm cat.  She is lazy.  She expects met to feed her.  We have rats running freely.  I guess that takes to much effort.  I even chased one out and the cat did catch it.  But, for the most part, she does not search them out.  Not only that, but when I do feed her, she will run away if the chickens go after her food.  I'm not feeding them cat food.  When they do interrupt her feedings, she does manage to feed.  I just wish she would not do it on our patio.  Saturday, I was looking out the window to see if a package had arrived.  What did I see?  They cat with half a squirrel.  You read that right.  Half a squirrel.  She had already consumed a portion.  She even left it, took a break, and returned to finish it.  Too bad she can't scare off predators.  

 This was a hard weekend for the farm.  It has been extremely hot.  Chickens do not do well with heat.  Having a dog like a Grand Pyrenees can be hard, also.  They are used to cold weather.  They have a heavy coat of fur.  Saturday, I found our dog in the field.  I called to him.  I thought he did not hear me.  That happens.  No movement.  I go closer.  I realize he is not breathing.  I had to dig a hole, before the big rain.  I was going to pass out from the heat.  I managed to bury our friendly giant.  Now we have no watchdog.  The chickens are sitting ducks for prey.  There are 3 of those left, ducks.  I purchased some devices that I hope can scare predators away.  If we lose these chickens, farm life may be over.  I really hate that.  Getting a new dog like a farm dog is not that easy.  If you go to a rescue, they want more information than we provided for our chil...

 We really need a sequel to this movie.  Maybe even a prequel.  How did we get to this point?  Ooops, I meant how did they get to this point.  I doubt we would get one.  Trump would loom over any company who would try to do the movie.  He may not realize they are talking about his administration.  I know those companies are scared of him and his FCC.  Mike Judge, If you read this, Do another movie!  People want to know where we go from here!  How can this be combated?  You did predict this!

 Trump's money making venture to celebrate him, oh I mean America was a failure.  This guy wants his Idiocracy followers to believe that Democrats paid people not to go.  They wouldn't have to pay me.  It is an event that celebrates trump, it's one of the hotter times in DC, and it just seemed boring.  I saw that other places had more inclusive and fun events going on.  Also, did I mention that trump's white supremacists showed marching with masks on their faces.  I guess their robes were being washed and they didn't have a spare.  Anyways, trump has turned the US into an authoritarian state that goes after it's citizens.  

 We just got back from KFC.  Kentucky Fried Chicken for those that do not know.  My daughter had to have the Supergirl meal.  This thing cost 13.00.  From the picture on the site it looked okay.  It was to come with 8 piece nuggets, biscuit,  small fries and a drink.  Also, a toy.  When we got it, we were shocked by the size.  This meal was smaller than my 6.00 chicken sandwich.  It looked like what McDonalds gives in a Happy Meal.  If you're contemplating getting this for your child, it's not worth it.  

 Will anyone watch trump's boring speech?   I do not plan to do anything that celebrates trump over the country. All this Washington DC stuff just strokes trumps ego.  What they need to do is release the Epstein files and start investigating trump's corruption.  He makes Nixon look like a choirboy.  

 Minions and Monsters comes out this week.  My daughter wants to see it.  I don't think I will rush to see it.  It's like one of those jokes that never ends.  I did see some reviews that it actually may be a good movie.  I'll wait for the next movies coming out.  Evil Dead sequel is coming out soon.  That looks interesting.  My daughters want to see Moana live action.  I really hate live action remakes.  They are unoriginal and tend to be a shot for shot remake of the original movie.  

 I stopped by the store yesterday.  It had been a hot day.  I hear a record heat.  When I went into the store, I felt a drop or two.  Once inside, I heard the rain coming down.  Walking outside, I was greeted with a downpour.  There were a group of people massing at the doors.  Lightning was flashing and thunder was booming.  I had to wait 30 minutes to get to my car without getting thoroughly soaked.  This year is hotter and the storms will be more intense.  

 We have an outside cat.  We feed it.  It was left by a previous neighbor.  We try to feed it.  It does find its own food.  It seems to like squirrels.  Unfortunately, we find the tails and other body parts on the porch.  The chickens poise a problem.  That is for the dog and the cat.  If you feed either in daylight, they will swoop down on the food.  The cat is not aggressive.  It will run away if the chicken goes after the food.  We got a auto feeder.  It worked great.  Then, something found it.  I will say it was probably raccoons.  I have used a brick to weigh it down and even covered with items.  The next morning the feeder was tilted over.  I have to rethink it.  Maybe I can build a strong cover.  One that raccoons can not outsmart.   

 They're back!  I keep finding rats around the chicken and rabbits.  I did use an electronic trap.  It worked great.  The second time I used it was a failure.  The bait even disappeared.  I don't know how that happened.  I can't test the shock plate.  Maybe I can use an voltage tester.  The next area I searched was one of the coop buildings.  I kicked an area where they hide and up the wall one ran.  I had my bb gun ready.  It went toward the roof and walked over me.  I guess they do not know how much of a target they present.  I shot.  It did not move for a second.  They it kept running.   I shot again.  I know I hit it because when it made it to the ground, it's back legs were not working.  I tried to put it out of it's misery, but it managed to escape.  In it's weakened condition, I feel the rats will finish the job if it does not just die.  I want to use poison, but the...

 When they do these super hero movies, they need to limit how powerful their character is.  If nothing can harm then, why bother to see the movie. There are no stakes.  One thing I hated with the Christopher Reeve movies is they kept bringing in Lex Luthor.  At least number 2 had villains that could equal Superman.  These new movies are getting annoying.  Every five seconds, they are pulling out the laser eyes.  This is like watching a JJ Abrams movie where he has an excess use of lens flares.  

 I took my daughters to see Toy Story 5.  It was great.  They have crafted another movie about a timely subject.  Kids and electronic devices.  They even hit on cyber bullying.  Of course, how many parents will see that as an issue?  Even without cyber, some do not care if their kid is a bully.  I guess they see it as privilege and leadership.  They made me cry again.  Now you look at your toys and old electronics.  Soon, we will not be able to get rid of anything.  I did read that Toy Story 6 will end the Bonnie story arc.  

 Supergirl comes out this week.  It looks boring.  I feel I have seen the whole movie in the trailer.  One thing that irritates me is showing this character as a drunk party girl.  Maybe she is drowning her sorrows in alcohol.  In the first movie, I found her to be annoying.  Now, they want to make her non relatable.  Why should I care if this alcoholic has a issue?  Of course, like many comic book movies, they tend to rely on villains no one knows or even care about.  It sounds like you will forget this villain as quickly as Thor 2's villain or maybe the Marvels.  Luckily for me, I will be taking my daughters to Toy Story 5.  It's sad some of the biggest movies are coming out closer to the end of the summer.  

 The Washington DC reflecting pool should be called the Distraction Pool or Distracting Pool.  However you want to see it.  It is something he is raving about to distract from the Epstein Files.  Who know something as little as fraudulent work could distract so many?  Even his excuse sound lame.  Someone swam into the pool and cut the paint with blade.  First of all, aren't there security cameras in place to stop people from vandalizing?  Second of all, he has the news reporting on this like it is front page news.  It's not.  Epstein and his rich elites molest and abusing kids should always be on the front page.  They should be writing articles on how politicians are protecting child molesters!  They should even be tracking down every lead that they could.  Another story I would like to see thoroughly investigated is his fake assassination attempt.  The assassin can't say anything.  Trump and his people knew dead...

 I may have written about this in the past.  It is worth discussing.  This cartoon is entertaining, even though it is in Mandarin.  We first found out about it when we adopted our 7 year old daughter.  Entering our hotel room for the first time, she went right to the controller and turned on cartoons.  This shocked us.  We did not think they would have tv's in the orphanage.  I guess the TV is an international babysitter.  Our daughter knew the schedules and channels.  Pleasant Goat came on and my other two daughters were fixated by this show.  They had no dubbing or translation.  I will say, it was easy to figure out the show.  It was like Roadrunner and Coyote.  The wolf is always coming up with schemes to catch a goat and eat it.  Every time, the goats use their skills to thwart wolf.  That is the show.  It is very popular in China.  They have even done multiple movies.  In stores, the imag...

 Ever heard of Looksmaxxing?  Neither have I.  It is some kind of weird internet male influencer ritual.  I watched an interview on 60 Minutes Australia(I am hoping the US does not destroy their 60 minutes, also).  The host was questioning this kid.  He believes that males have a duty to work on their appearance.  He goes through all this stuff.  He uses herbal things, Meth (to stave off hunger), steroids, etc.  He also prescribes face smashing.  That is where he takes a hammer and breaks bones in his face.  When I heard that, I laughed out loud.  Why? Because of The Two Faces of Squidward.  It is an episode of Spongebob Squarepants.  In it, Squidward gets hit in the face with a door.  After recovering, his appearance starts to change.  That is until he hits ultimate beauty.  Teens have taken this fictional idea and turned it into something real.  I wonder if they realize they are suckers?  Trump is wasting our tax dollars having the National Guard out at the reflecting pool.  Why?  To guard algae.  Heaven forbid you touch the water or paint chips.  They will arrest you.  He's trying to say it is a conspiracy run by antifa.  To me, it looks like shoddy work by a fraudulent company.  It reminds me of the stories of how the mob would make money.  Charge exorbitant rates for low quality materials and workmanship.  All while bilking the customer out of as much money as they can get.  I bet, taxpayers will be shook down for more money to "fix" the problem.  Since it has to be done right away, it will increase the amount.  I wish news organizations would stop kissing his ass and investigate this.   

 It looks like trump's deal is Obama's deal.  Only difference is that Obama did not put us and the rest of the world in a gas crisis.  I have not heard anything new.  Well, it does seem that trump is giving them a whole lot more than we are getting back in return.  Looks like art of the deal was a lie.  If I ran a business, I would not want trump negotiating for me.  

 My daughter and I are making some progress on our guitar training.  YouTube has some great videos on how to do it.  If you go that way, look at multiple and find the trainer that speaks to you.  We have found a couple.  Some do regular training, some do music by one string, etc.  One that I would like to highlight is @for3v3rfaithful  It is run by a woman named Ellen.  She does a great job training.  I feel she goes the right speed.  She is very personable.  If you are looking into the guitar, give her channel a lookup and follow.  

 In the past, Republicans complained about cancel culture, when their right wing leaders were attacked for hateful speech.  That was the people.  I really don't think the government was going after them.  However, when a left leaning person says something, especially about Israel's government, Republicans attack and want them removed from society.  These are governmental people.  Case in point.  Kanye is coming to Florida for a concert.  He has said bad things in the past.  He has apologized and frankly, he may have psychological issues.  Florida senator Rick Scott, the one that defrauded Medicaid and took a golden parachute with lots of money, wants the concert shut down.  What about the First Amendment?  I thought we had free speech in America.  I know under Republicans, it is limited, especially when it comes to them and their donors.  If you don't like what Kanye says, don't go to his concert.     

 I see Disney is cutting off riders on their free busses.  I agree.  I think they need to go one step further.  Put a fence and moat around its properties.  They should not allow the riff raff onto their grounds.  Only workers and patrons should be allowed there.  They do not need locals for their stores.  Why should the rich have to share the same air as the poor.  When you pay for their properties, you do not want people in their pools.  If there is someone there, employees should be required to ask if they have paid to stay at the hotel.  At Disney Springs, they should not allow people who are not going to spend money.  They take up benches and other things paying customers need.  How dare anyone think about getting around the parking fees on property.  That is a status symbol that one can afford to pay to park.  They should even create new ride entrances, so that the rich do not have to see those in line....

 When I was younger, in the 1990's, I applied to do the Disney College Program.  I was one of those people that thought this would be good on my resume.  I actually applied three times.  I had lots of experience in the service industry.  I guess technology has come into the process, but when I applied, they came to the college campuses.  I interviewed.  I guess I was not brainwashed and bubbly enough for the program.  I worked with one person, who severely lacked communication skills and tended to be unfriendly and she got picked.  Why?  I think someone up above was looking out for me.  Later in life, I had moved to Florida.  We were close to Disney.  My thought was with a degree, I would have an advantage to getting a position that was not entry level.  It turns out Disney hires everyone as entry level.  I actually did get offered a job as a bellhop in one of the hotels.  We were trying to buy a house and w...

 Today, I got a reminder that not everyone holds a special place in their hearts for children with special needs.   They don't want what they have.  They'd love to be as normal as everyone else.  Please if you see someone in public, don't ridicule them.  Don't let children make fun of them.  I just don't get our society.  Our so called president thinks they should be "put down".  His cabinet is definitely showing that they do not care for them.  When your a billionaire,  I guess special needs do not effect them.  I do wish it upon all of them.  They should learn the joys these children provide.  The worst part, is we can not go places without bringing tons of things for their needs.  

 Yesterday, I went out for a walk and it was hot.  You can feel it beating down on you.  Not much rain for the rest of the day.  Today, more heat.  Alexa is warning of a hot day.  That is not good for the animals.  I hope they can find a cool placed to hunker down.  Chickens will take dirt baths to cool themselves down.  We may get some rain soon.  A tropical storm is hitting Texas and may come towards Florida.  If it does, that could also mean flooding.  

 We have a peace plan with Iran.  It seems that trump spent billions to achieve the same thing Obama did without spending tons of our tax dollars, hurting the economy, and without killing people on either side.  Unfortunately, his base will not see that.  They will believe what they are told.  They will believe the serial liar who "runs" the country.  The only person who will benefit from this will be trump.  I bet he made billions off of his war!  Now, the US will pay for it for years to come.  

 It is here.  Toy Story starts Friday.  I hope to take my girls, but we'll have to see when I have a chance.  I hear it is good, but there is a repetitious spirit to it.  They really need to change things up.  Do things people have not already seen.  I hear they plan for more movies.  I do like how they incorporate evolution of toys and devices in children's lives.   Tablets/phones need to be addressed.  I doubt parents will take any message from in.  I am glad 3 of my girls do not live on their devices.  Go see the movie with your children!  At least you know it will be entertaining, emotional, and hopefully informative.  

 The other day, my daughter and I were watching YouTube for guitar lessons.  We found a person who was showing how to play songs using one chord.  One of those was TNT by AC/DC.  My daughter loved it.  She has even asked for a shirt for TNT.  I love to see the songs that she falls in love for.  I remember back in the 80's.  I got to see AC/DC in concert.  They were performing with Cinderella.  My brother and I had tickets.  We were in the center floor area.  During the opening, we noticed a group of seats open in a upper area that looked down on the stage.  We took a chance.  We went to those seats.  It was one of the great concerts I got to see.  My ears rang for 3 days.  AC/DC puts on a great show.  They had a bell rise up on the stage for Hell's Bells.  They had canons for For Those About to Rock, We Salute You.  The opening have a rocket rise out of the stage.  Angus Young kicked...

 Another Father's Day is coming up.  I do not expect anything from my kids.  Just having them in my life is enough.  Plus, I don't want to leave them with more things to get rid of when I am no longer here.  It makes me think of my dad.  He was in my life, but not very much.  My mom was mom and dad in our house.  Dad would visit every once in a while.  He would also disappear for many months.  Sometimes, when he would come back, he would ask for money.  From his children!  I was not even out of school.  I made that mistake once.  He "borrowed" 100 from me.  He told me he would return twice as much.  I never saw that money.  He even tried again.  But, by that time I told him I needed my money to pay for college, which he did not help pay for.  I know when I hear these right wingers say that kids need fathers in their lives, I would disagree.  If the original one is not in the picture, the ...

 Masters of the Universe came out recently.  The reviews are good, but not the business.  Why would it?  First of all, it's an old toy line.  The first movie was a low budget film from Cannon.  The Cannon name should say it all.  Secondly, do they really think these parents are going to drag their children to see a nostalgia movie?  Seems like this movie was meant for a niche crowd.  One that was not really that big.  I think this movie might affect future toy movies, but we'll have to wait and see.  They really should have kept the budget down until they built up a fan base.  Do kids of today even know this property?  I doubt it.  If you go and see it, I hear it's good.  I know I am not jumping to see it.  

 Summer has started.  I don't really feel it at the movie theaters.  I remember when Memorial Day ushered in the early starters.  Then, one week after another movies would come out.  I'm still waiting on the big movie.  Two small movies are beating movies that cost a whole lot more than theirs did.  Remakes and comic book movies top the summer again.  I can't say I look forward to many of them.  My kids will force me to watch them.  I have seen some previews for movies coming out in September.  I actually look forward to them.  I do want to see Toy Story, Spiderman, and the Odyssey.  That's it.  

 Yes, you read that correctly.  We felt an earthquake in Florida.  It happened off the coast of Cuba.  I work in Orlando and we felt it.  My chickens in Lady Lake ran for cover.  Tallahassee even felt it.  Luckily, there was no damage or injuries.  In addition to Hurricanes, we have to worry about Earthquakes.  

 I will start by saying I am a big fan of Theme Park Express on YouTube.  The person who runs this channel is an influencer for theme parks, cruises and travel in general.  His favorite activities center around Disney.  I started watching because I wanted to see what a Disney Cruise looked like.  It looks expensive and not for my family.  His Vlogs are still entertaining.  Recently he went to Singapore.  What I saw of the country made me want to visit it.  He visited Universal.  I could not see going to any theme park in another country.  I would rather experience the history, culture and food than pay for something I have in my back yard.  He also did a back to back Disney Cruise on a new ship.  The cruise was like 3 to 4 days and did not go anywhere, just out to sea and back.  It really did not look much different than the cruises in America.  I will say, he does have an entertaining show.  You can learn t...

 Why do they describe Susan Collins as being a centrist republican?  Yeah right!  She is a centrist like Fetterman is a democrat.  Every time some big thing Trump needs a vote on comes down to her, she gives him what he wants.  She even pretends to be free choice.  But, her votes say differently.  Those Justices she passed were totally anti abortion.  Do you think she cares?  I don't.  I think she cashes in for every high stake vote she gives.  With trump, that could literally mean cash payoffs.  Bribes are legal under republicans, as long as they are all kicking up to the top.  

 Our lessons are going well.  My fingertips hurt, but I feel I am learning some chords.  My daughter is doing well, also.  She says instead of performing, she wants to be a guitar influencer.  Then yesterday, she was talking about joining her grandfather on stage to perform.  She even asked what kind of music he played.  We said blue grass.  She says she wants to join him to sing blue ass.  

 I got to use the electronic trap.  I set it up in a cage that I purposely closed.  Believe me, if a rat wants to get inside, it will.  After coming inside, it poured outside.  Luckily, it was under shelter.  The device is not waterproof.  The next day, I went out to check on the animals.  I took a look in the trap.  Before I even got there, I saw a big tale sticking out.  Sure enough, a good sized rat was dead inside.  I dumped the body and had to bring the trap inside.  I had to clean out the stuff that might scare off future rats.  I know there are a bunch around.  

 A trailer was released for By Any Means.  It has Mark Wahlberg playing a mobster who goes down to Mississippi to help coerce information from the locals about the disappearance of 3 civil rights workers for the FBI.  When I saw this preview, my first thought was this looks like an updated Mississippi Burning meets Green Book.  I would hope that it can escape those comparisons, but I don't know.  Check it out on YouTube.  To me, it looks like a streamer to me.  Or I will wait for streaming if I even bother to watch it.  I still have not seen Green Book and I still do not want to.  To me Green Book looked like a gender swapped Driving Miss Daisy.  

 So, my daughter, the influencer, wants to learn guitar.  Since I do not know it, I also have to learn.  Luckily, we bought her an acoustic first, then she wanted an electric.  I tell you.  Old dogs do not learn new tricks very easily.  I watch some lessons on YouTube.  They start slow, but rush into it.  There are some good ones out there.  Also, my step father knows how to play one.  He is two states away.  I think I am starting to get some of it.  It does create pain for your fingers.
