Blacklisted Books and Motivating Readers

When I was younger, I had a love of reading. Maybe not all books. One thing that really pissed me off was when I read about books people were trying to ban. I made it a point to read those books. My school had some decent books that we had to read. Some were not for me. I hate when someone says I can not read something. It just motivates me. Catcher in the Rye, Shogun, anything Stephen King, Death Be Not Proud, etc. I still am trying to look for books that hit the banned list. If they are banning it, it must be good. It also has important messages from the writers. If you want a good book, look at what governments are trying to ban! It would be interesting to see what they currently have teens reading in school. I know Florida is probably forcing alternate universe history where America does no wrong and African Americans loved slavery because it gave them a skill. Banned Books Buy Now

 I'm sitting in my office at home.  All I can hear is the sound of chickens squawking. I Feel Lost

 This week, my phone died.  I could not believe it.  I was looking on it and it goes black.  I have my wife look at it.  She gets it to come back to life and updates it to the Icloud.  I start looking at it again.  Then, it dies again.  This time it is for good.  She called TMobile.  They wanted me to enter passwords.  I could not remember them.  They were on the phone.  Eventually, I used my Ipod to access something.  Because it was under a plan we have, I am able to get a new phone.  Only catch is is that it is the same model, Iphone 11.  If I wanted the newest phone, I would have to pay $300.  I went with the same model.  Now I just need to get it.  I find myself lost without my phone.

The Long Walk

 I took my daughters to see The Long Walk .  I read this stroy when I was a teen.  It did not disappoint.  The guys who Star in this movie did a really good job.  It is not the feel good movie of the year .  It does make you feel for everyone who dies.  If you get emotional, it will cause tears.
