For Love of a Daughter(s)

It's lunchtime in FL.  I was checking the news.  I saw something that makes me appreciate adopting my daughters.  A girl in another country was whipped after it was discovered that her father had raped her.  Why?  They said that she had enticed him in his drunken state.  I wonder if he had raped a tree, would they have cut it down or burned it?  I can not believe the stuff I see in the news.  It gets me mad when courts or society blame the rape  the victim for the act.

 I took my daughters to see The Long Walk .  I read this stroy when I was a teen.  It did not disappoint.  The guys who Star in this movie did a really good job.  It is not the feel good movie of the year .  It does make you feel for everyone who dies.  If you get emotional, it will cause tears.

I Feel Lost

 This week, my phone died.  I could not believe it.  I was looking on it and it goes black.  I have my wife look at it.  She gets it to come back to life and updates it to the Icloud.  I start looking at it again.  Then, it dies again.  This time it is for good.  She called TMobile.  They wanted me to enter passwords.  I could not remember them.  They were on the phone.  Eventually, I used my Ipod to access something.  Because it was under a plan we have, I am able to get a new phone.  Only catch is is that it is the same model, Iphone 11.  If I wanted the newest phone, I would have to pay $300.  I went with the same model.  Now I just need to get it.  I find myself lost without my phone.
