Return of the Living Dead

Per my previous post, the director and producer walked their seperate ways. An outcome of this was Return of the Living Dead. It came out in 1985. It was made as a satirical comedy horror film. Dan O'Bannon, who helped create Alien, wrote and directed the film. It was a great movie. I rmember seeing this. We were visiting my dad in Wilson, NC. We went to a small local theater. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with the smell of popcorn. The movie surrounds a group of people trying to survive after a gas leak reanimates the dead. You have straight laced people, a group of punks, etc. They did go on to make a couple of sequels with diminishing returns. I did read they are trying a remake by using Kickstarter to finance it. My hopes are not high for it. Return of the Living Dead Blu Ray

Crazy Chickens

I'm sitting in my office at home.  All I can hear is the sound of chickens squawking. I think they are trying to encourage me to feed them.  I know when I go out, it will be like Ace Ventura and the animals flocking to him.  I do know they will squawk before laying an egg.  The roosters are non-stop with their calls!

I Feel Lost

By -
This week, my phone died.  I could not believe it.  I was looking on it and it goes black.  I have my wife look at it.  She gets it to come back to life and updates it to the Icloud.  I start looking at it again.  Then, it dies again.  This time it is for good.  She called TMobile.  They wanted me to enter passwords.  I could not remember them.  They were on the phone.  Eventually, I used my Ipod to access something.  Because it was under a plan we have, I am able to get a new phone.  Only catch is is that it is the same model, Iphone 11.  If I wanted the newest phone, I would have to pay $300.  I went with the same model.  Now I just need to get it.  I find myself lost without my phone.

Stock Manipulation

Trump is at it again.  Using his power to manipulate stocks.  Yesterday, while stocks were sinking, he announced that the war was almost over.   I doubt that.  He did this to play with the market.  Gas even went down a little.  He probably wishes gas could increase, and the market would do the same.  His family bought in early because of insider information.  I guess corruption is allowed as long as you don't cross the king.  Then, he'd have his puppet in DOJ go after them.
