Salem's Lot

Stephen King entered the Dracula ring with his book Salem's Lot. He wrote it in 1975. He was a teacher in Maine and was teaching Dracula when he came up with his own vampire tale. It centers around an author who comes back to his home town Jarusalem's Lot in Maine, looking for inspiration for a new book. Then some people start to go missing. Amazon is doing a Buy 3 for the price of 2 deal right now. I found it to be an entertaining book. In 1979, Tobe Hooper directed a miniseries that played on a tv network. This movie was scary. I saw it as a kid. It definetly left an impression on me. I added a compilation series of movies because the stand alone movie for Salem's Lot was expensive and this was a much better deal. Crazy Chickens

I'm sitting in my office at home.  All I can hear is the sound of chickens squawking. I think they are trying to encourage me to feed them.  I know when I go out, it will be like Ace Ventura and the animals flocking to him.  I do know they will squawk before laying an egg.  The roosters are non-stop with their calls!

I Feel Lost

By -
This week, my phone died.  I could not believe it.  I was looking on it and it goes black.  I have my wife look at it.  She gets it to come back to life and updates it to the Icloud.  I start looking at it again.  Then, it dies again.  This time it is for good.  She called TMobile.  They wanted me to enter passwords.  I could not remember them.  They were on the phone.  Eventually, I used my Ipod to access something.  Because it was under a plan we have, I am able to get a new phone.  Only catch is is that it is the same model, Iphone 11.  If I wanted the newest phone, I would have to pay $300.  I went with the same model.  Now I just need to get it.  I find myself lost without my phone.

Stock Manipulation

Trump is at it again.  Using his power to manipulate stocks.  Yesterday, while stocks were sinking, he announced that the war was almost over.   I doubt that.  He did this to play with the market.  Gas even went down a little.  He probably wishes gas could increase, and the market would do the same.  His family bought in early because of insider information.  I guess corruption is allowed as long as you don't cross the king.  Then, he'd have his puppet in DOJ go after them.
