A YouTuber has made a very low-budget movie that made more than most expensive Hollywood movies. What message will Hollywood take? They will throw millions at YouTubers to make movies. When they all fail, the experiment will all be over. I wish they would just provide smaller budgets to upcoming directors. We need a Roger Corman. He financed low-budget movies with certain things he hoped to see. Current big directors cut their teeth in his film camps. Even a streamer could afford to take the playbook he had and create a division that does just that.
