Seems Stephen King is in hot water because he said he'd pick art over diversity.  I agree with him.  Why should a mediocre film get nominated just because of diversity?  If the Academy wants to remedy that situation, they should increase the categories like they do for the Best Picture.  Let 7-10 be the final number, if there is a really good year in films.  I agree with Mr. King.  It's all about story and performance, well it should be.  To me it's still just a popularity contest.  How can one of anything really be the best of that year.  It's all about tastes of the voters.  They already have people's choice awards.

I Feel Lost

 This week, my phone died.  I could not believe it.  I was looking on it and it goes black.  I have my wife look at it.  She gets it to come back to life and updates it to the Icloud.  I start looking at it again.  Then, it dies again.  This time it is for good.  She called TMobile.  They wanted me to enter passwords.  I could not remember them.  They were on the phone.  Eventually, I used my Ipod to access something.  Because it was under a plan we have, I am able to get a new phone.  Only catch is is that it is the same model, Iphone 11.  If I wanted the newest phone, I would have to pay $300.  I went with the same model.  Now I just need to get it.  I find myself lost without my phone.

The Long Walk

 I took my daughters to see The Long Walk .  I read this stroy when I was a teen.  It did not disappoint.  The guys who Star in this movie did a really good job.  It is not the feel good movie of the year .  It does make you feel for everyone who dies.  If you get emotional, it will cause tears.
